Malaysian biker

I have decided to start this blog since my RCIA journey. We are always sharing our stories of our topsy-turvy life and more often than not, we share on God and people who have made an impact in our lives, big or small.

Am also tired of reading the bitching that goes on in some blogs. Society is such that people are getting more critical (myself included) that they never stop to smell the roses.

This first entry is on the biker we met yesterday when Shark and I took a ride into Malaysia on his new BMW bike. Apparently, the fuel indicator on the bike is faulty with its signal showing on yesterday but fuel tank meter still indicating 1/3rd full.

We passed the first petrol station on the NS highway and what he said to be 5 min later, his bike came to a stall as the tank has ran to an empty. This is the 2nd time it had happened to us, the first being in Malaysia too that I just became indifferent to the situation altogether.

Shark finally managed to flag someone down after 10 min, a Malaysian on one of those little cubby bikes with a basket in front and sent him to the gas station we passed (against the traffic flow) to buy petrol. Shark said the people at the kiosk were just as prompt and helpful in finding containers for him, etc.

Our angel refused to take the water Shark bought him nor the money he was offered. My angels were also with me while I was waiting for them alone at the side of the expressway.

God bless the man.
